SITE: A new restaurant café/ bar on capel street. The site was a former kareoke bar that was left dormant for 10 years – the project called to maximise seating capacity and to use the new orleans themed concept to guide design decisions.
Reflective corrugated surfaces, ambient lighting tubes and playful tile patterns were used to create a nightlife atmosphere.
The interior was assisted by a local graffiti artist – sums.
